Oxymethalone is often marketed anadrol and is sometimes known as anapolon as well. This is an anabolic steroid that was developed and widely used in the 1960s, and which is still used today in the treatment of anemia and osteoporosis. On top of this though, the substance is also popular among bodybuilders and athletes who use it in order to stimulate enhanced muscle growth and fat burning.
Oymethalone: The Benefits
By increasing the availability of anabolic hormones in the body, anadrol provides all the desirable effects associated with most steroid use and which are highly desirable for a bodybuilder trying to enhance their size and strength while remaining lean and ‘cut’.
Anadrol has a low affinity for binding with the androgen receptor (which is how most steroids work), but instead focusses on enhancing protein synthesis in order to increase size and strength which makes it so useful for athletes. It is one of the most potent androgenic steroids currently available.
Oxymethalone: The Risks
Unfortunately though, like other steroids, anadrol is banned by the IFBB and is illegal to use without a prescription. This makes it expensive and difficult to get hold of and means that you can risk legal action if you are caught using it. It also means that you can’t really be sure of what you are using when you purchase the substance and could risk severe poisoning as a result. Using any steroid involves large undesirable changes to your lifestyle that can alienate you from others and lead to financial issues and other problems.
At the same time, Anadrol also has many side effects and unwanted effects which are actually some of the most severe among steroids.
These side effects include but are not limited to swelling, weight gain (which can diminish the appearance of added muscle), changes in skin color and jaundice, nausea and vomiting, stomach pain, loss of appetite, insomnia, aggression, diarrhoea, restlessness, acne and hair loss. The most worrying side effect for men however is the potential for gynecomastia (the development of breasts) and other estrogenic effects.
In women these side effects are even more severe and can include deepening of the voice, enlargement of the clitoris, pattern baldness, changes to the menstrual period, hair growth on the face and more.
Some bodybuilders will attempt to regular these side effects using selective estrogen receptor modulators like tamoxifen and arimidex, but this is a complex process and not an exact science making it highly risky.
Alternatives to Anadrol
Fortunately though there are many alternatives to using steroids like anadrol which offer a much safer and more practical solution to enhanced muscle growth and fat burning.
These include Anadrol Pills that are safe and effective and mimic oxymethalone without any of its negative side effects. Such pills quite a hit with bodybuilders since they can help stack muscle very quickly without nasty and unwanted side effects. These are completely legal and have no side effects making them a very safe (if slightly milder) alternative.
Likewise, changes in your training, diet or lifestyle and routines can also help to further enhance the production of testosterone and give you natural, sustainable and long-term benefits that don’t put you at risk or ruin your life.
